Okay, the new album is out! I hope you enjoy it. I wrote The Real in 2003 for my wife. We danced to it at our wedding. I wrote Home in 2000 while living in Evanston, Illinois. Bring Back Virginia was written in 2002 upon returning to the Kansas City area. I wrote it for my maternal grandmother who recently died. She had Alzheimer’s for 20 years before she died. Honeysuckle was written in 2005. I held off releasing these songs because I wasn’t sold on them. But they grew on me. The rest of the songs on the new album were written between 2009 and 2010.

Harper Streeet is available for $10 at www.cdbaby.com/cd/prestongirard3!

Just gotta say some great things about www.jango.com. I’ve placed some of my songs in rotation at jango, which is an Internet radio site similar to Pandora, and so far I’ve been blessed with over 250 fans all over the world. At jango, my songs are played next to similar, more established, artists whose fans can become my fans if they give me the thumbs up. What a great time we live in for music, huh? I’m a singer/songwriter who just can’t tour because I work all the time for my job and family, so to have a site like jango is a lifesaver. Many thanks to jango and to all who support indie artists!

Hey, by the way, check out the new reviews of Along Chicago by www.reviewyou.com on my PRESS page! One of them actually said, and I quote, “This album is one of the best so far this decade, no question.” Wow.
